Helen Smith has directed the Cancer and Caregiver Support Group for 15 years. The group has grown to more than 100 members to make it the largest support group in Indiana, and it continues to accept new members.
WHO: Anyone needing support going through a medical situation and caregivers of all types.
WHAT: The group offers a positive, family-like environment, and social workers and speakers visit regularly.
WHEN: The first and third Thursday of every month. Doors open at 6:15pm and the meeting runs from 6:45pm to 8pm.
